SOCIAL-CULTURAL DETERMINATION OF YOUTH SUBCULTURES

Abstract.
The author researches the influence of social-cultural space and its individual elements on the formation, development and transformation of youth subcultures, for the more detailed analysis of this influence suggests his own typology of the social-cultural determination types of youth subcultures, and concludes that using this typology makes it possible to consider youth subcultures in the overall structure of social-cultural space and to determine the functions, reasons, the type of interaction with society and the prospects for the development of youth subcultures in accordance with the type of social-cultural determination.
