Abstract.
The author reveals the social-cultural features of the inter-ethnic cooperation of the Teleut ethnos representatives and other nationalities living within Kuzbas territory, discusses the problem of ethnic groups’ adapting to each other in modern multicultural society, tells that destructive processes, taking place in society, negatively affect the preservation and strengthening of ethnic cultures, and concludes that the purposeful formation of communicative tolerance in humans should ease the tension in the interaction of people in modern society.
