Abstract.
The author considers the legal views of soviet jurist, philosopher and statesman M. A. Reisner (1868-1928). Even before the revolution the scientist openly rejected the existing political regime and shared the ideas of the scientific theory of socialism. Under the influence of I. L. Petrazhitskii’s ideas Reisner created a psychologized legal conception, which was a reinterpretation of the Marxist doctrine in terms of the doctrine of “intuitive” right originated in the mind of the masses.
