Abstract.
The article studies the early group of Sikachi-Alyan petroglyphs in Lower Amur region. Academician A. P. Okladnikov regarded it as a single whole with common characteristics. The author carried out a stylistic analysis of drawings, the results of which allowed singling out subgroups reflecting masters’ graphic skills development and suggests an interpretation of drawings content corresponding to the world outlook, myth-ritual and ceremonial practice of the Stone Age.
