Abstract.
The article considers the main special features and functionality of the objects and constructive elements of the material domestic content of the peasant dwelling. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the reasons of such features formation as shape, design, technology, manufacture material, and decoration. In this regard, the authors suggest a comprehensive approach to the identification of the specific ethnic features of the objects and elements of the material domestic content of the peasant dwelling together with the reasons of their occurrence.
