EXPERIENCE IN CREATING LARGE COMMERCIAL FRUIT FARMS IN THE SOUTH OF RUSSIA

Abstract. The article considers the activity of soviet and economic organizations on creating large soviet fruit farms in the south of Russia during the first soviet five-year plan. As a specific example the author characterizes the process of creating a large fruit state farm in Slavyansk area of Kuban’ district of the North-Caucasian territory, adduces weighty arguments in favor of the choice of exactly this place for the future largest fruit state farm in the USSR, highlights the search for sources of financing for new orchards start.
