Abstract.
The article considers the problem of global ecological imperative formation, which is a normative framework of ecological culture. The main obstacles on the way of its development are revealed, and the methods of their overcoming are suggested. The principle weak points of modern conceptions on the harmonization of relations between society and natural environment are identified. Special attention is paid to the role of motives in the formation of relations in the system “man – society – nature”.
