EMBLEMATIC SYMBOLICS OF THE UDMURTS IN TRADITIONAL AND STAGE COSTUMES

Abstract. The article presents the results of the author’s researches and the practical use of the Udmurt national symbolics in the decoration of modern stage costumes. The author analyzes, interprets and classifies the major symbolic motifs that should be present in modern ethnically predefined stage costumes as the new bearers of the Udmurt ethnic group semantic information, and also presents her own sketch solutions of costumes made ​​for the stage bands of Udmurtia.
