Abstract. The article conceptualizes the connection between absurd and existential knowledge. Recognizing the existence of such connection, the author shows that the latter cannot be regarded as absurd only on the basis of its opposition to various aspects of rationality. It is stated that existential knowledge, as opposed to rational, is inherent to the subject at every moment of its existence, and in this regard suggests not reflection over itself, but the clarification of non-duality experience through absurd. This problematic is considered by the example of Lev Shestov’s existential philosophy.
