ABOUT DHARMAS “PRĀPTI” AND “APRĀPTI” MEANING IN DHARMAS SYSTEM OF ABHIDHARMA-KOSA

Abstract. The author suggests his own interpretation of two most important categories of Sarvastivada dharmas theory, presented in Abhidharma-kosa treatise by the great Buddhist thinker Vasubandhu (IV th-V th centuries AD) in the article. The meaning of prāpti-dharma and aprāpti-dharma is analyzed that play the most important role in the ontological system of Sarvastivada – the philosophical school of early Buddhism. These two dharmas organize and order dharmas individual flow course itself, which, according to Sarvastivada views, is quite the thing that is determined by the notion “live being”.
