RATIONAL ELEMENTS FORMATION IN MUSIC OF EARLY MODERN PERIOD

Abstract.
The topical problem of sensory and rational in musical art, and also the issues of scientific and artistic world cognition interaction are considered in the article. The author develops the idea about the interconnection and indivisibility of these spheres of human activity, united, in his opinion, also by such cognition instrument as mental experiment. Mental experiment operations are considered as the operating mechanisms of the musical art of the Early Modern Period. The analogy of many operations of mental experiment in music and science is emphasized in the article that proves the community of intellectual processes in natural science and artistic creativity.
