Abstract.
The article is devoted to the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany – Bundestag. The author describes in detail the procedure for the election to this body of people’s representation. Special attention is paid to the 18 th general elections to Bundestag, which took place in September 2013. The author’s purpose is to find out whether there was any tendency to vote during the elections. In this context the article considers the territorial and religious features of lands in the FRG. The author analyzes the results of the vote and comes to the conclusion that territorial aspect was more significant than social-cultural one for voters’ choice political conditionality in the FRG.
