Abstract.
The article reveals and analyzes the systems of the ethnic values of the Mari and Komi determined by means of complex method that combines the techniques of classical sciences using quantitative assessment. The results are graphically presented in the form of charts and diagrams showing the ranked sequence of eight value notions. In the hierarchy of the identified values special place is given to ethics, and the most intolerable evils, condemned by the ethnic groups, are shown. The source of value guidelines is the paroemias of the ethnic groups.
