SOCIOLOGICAL VIEW OF HOME: METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH

Abstract. In the article topical issues on home sociology as an applied direction of sociological knowledge are revealed, and the methodological substantiation of the notion “home” as a social phenomenon is suggested. The research aim is to define the category “home” as the designation of society elementary item covering wide social content and various social forms. The author shows the correlation of the notions “home” and “family” through the analysis of society system indications.
