CHARACTERISTIC OF ARAL FLOTILLA VESSELS

Abstract.
In the article the Aral flotilla vessels are researched from the moment of the flotilla foundation in 1852 till its liquidation in 1885. The basic characteristics of the Aral flotilla warships, their construction places, the vessels peculiarities, their armament, the marches, in which they took part, are described on the basis of archival materials. The flotilla creation purposes, the results of the Aral Sea naval force creation and its abolishment reasons are revealed in the article. The author pays special attention to the steamers as they were the basis of the Aral flotilla.
