Abstract.
In the article by the example of Saint Gregory of Tours work “History of the Franks” the analysis of the repeated semiologic construction, where the communicative aspect of political power is a designatum, is made. The examination of this construction features of the semantic (symbolic) type of culture code is realized; the hypothesis about immanent connection between sign and culture code is formulated.
