TRAINING OF PERSONNEL IN IRKUTSK MILITARY AIRCRAFT TECHNICIANS’ SCHOOL ON THE EVE OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

Abstract. The article is devoted to the formation and development of Irkutsk Military Aircraft Technicians’ School, one of the Air Force schools, which trained personnel in Siberia. On the basis of archival documents analysis the author reveals the issues of permanent and non-permanent personnel recruiting, material support and educational process organization. Despite all difficulties the school became a source of military personnel in a short space of time. During the period of 1932-1941 the military school trained several thousands of skilled personnel for the country aviation.
