ACTIVITY OF THE MORDVINIAN WRITERS IN CREATIVE ASSOCIATIONS (THE END OF THE 1920S - THE FIRST HALF OF THE 1930S)

Abstract. The article analyzes the specifics of the formation of writers’ community in Mordovia in the first half of the 1930s. The urgency of the paper is conditioned by the insufficient studies of the issues representing the ideological influence and pressure of party structures on the Mordvinian literature. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the recently discovered archival materials revealing the multisided activity of the writers in the Mordvinian Department of the Union of the Soviet Writers.
