PECULIARITIES OF SANITARY STATE OF THE FAR EAST TOWNS IN THE 1930S

Abstract.
In the article the sanitary state of the Far East towns in the 30s of the XX century is considered. The state of the main elements of sanitary improvement such as water supply, the state of housing and communal services, provision with accommodation for population, the services of public catering, conditions for hygiene maintenance is analyzed. The author comes to the conclusion about their unsatisfactory state and notes that unfavourable sanitary conditions created the main prerequisites for the development and strengthening of some epidemic diseases within the territory.
