Abstract.
The idea of justice is analyzed in the article from the point of view of its functionality in poly-ethnic social medium. The parameters of understanding “justice” - “injustice” in the process of ethnic groups’ co-existence within the frames of single social organism are revealed. The idea that justice phenomenon content is largely determined by the conducted state policy is substantiated. The concrete historical factors of inter-ethnic relations formation in Russia are considered, the conditions of justice awareness formation in inter-ethnic relations are determined.
