Abstract.
In the article the gnosiological study of trust phenomenon is carried out. The thesis that the gnosiological potential of trust must be researched within the framework of the dialectical construction “trust - faith -confidence” is formulated. The author reveals the mechanism of interconnection between trust and truth, which is achieved in the process of rational cognition; suggests a categorial-paradigmatic scheme of the gnosiological concept of trust, where trust is explicated as an attributive phenomenon of cognitive faith.
