LINE OF “BEAUTY” IN ART AND DESIGNER’S PROJECTS IN ART NOUVEAU STYLE

Abstract.
Line is of great importance in designer’s creativity. In the article the meaning of line in art nouveau style is considered. Its character and the world outlook aspects of the cultural formation of the style are studied. The author singles out a wavy line as a line of “beauty”, which creates harmonious images echoing nature. The examples of modern architectural designer’s projects based on the wavy line are analyzed, their ideological component is investigated.
