PROBLEMS OF LABOUR EFFICIENCY IN SOVIET HISTORIOGRAPHY OF THE 30-50S OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. The article considers the attempt of interpreting labour efficiency problems during NEP by historiography of the 1930-1950s. The works of E. Genkina, E. Kudyumova, P. Lyashchenko, A. Matyugin, A. Poselyanina, M. Yurago and others are analyzed. In the 30s the government set the task of reasoning the soviet period by the soviet historians from the position of the rigid ideological canon. The authors, who studied the problem of labour efficiency during NEP, also followed this canon.
