EXPERIENCE OF GEORGES BATAILLE’S SOVEREIGN COMMUNITY

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the notion of “inner experience” in the philosophy of Georges Bataille. The author shows that “inner experience”, despite its obviousness, is impossible as closed experience and is always directed to the other. Bataille finds access to truly sovereign community in this particular spontaneous openness of experience. Bataille considers community as space of proximity escaping from any kind of reconstruction, so you can only feel it sliding on the surface of “inner experience”, staying in constant formation.
