Abstract.
The article is devoted to the topical subject of image in modern fashion illustration. The author considers polystylism from the perspective of the diversity of fashion images in illustration, fashionable image-stereotype as an artistic image of character. The article analyzes the objective and subjective factors of “ideal” image formation in illustration, presents the author’s classification of images and proposes areas of its practical application.
