RELIGIOUS AND PHILOSOPHICAL TRADITIONS IN THE MUSLIM REFORMISM

Abstract.
The article considers the issue of the succession of religious and philosophical traditions in the Muslim reformism. In this regard, the author basing on the analysis of medieval ideas and the conceptions of the Arab-Islamic philosophy and Kalam, enlightenment, education and Sufism explains their influence on the development of reformism. It is noted that the main directions and trends of the Muslim reformism represent a synthesis of traditional and modern world views, which is expressed, on the one hand, in desire to keep old foundations and traditions, and on the other - in desire to bring them in correspondence with new conditions of life.
