PROBLEM OF AESTHETIC FORM IN THE RUSSIAN POETRY OF THE XVIII CENTURY

Abstract.
The article considers the issue of the search and development of a new aesthetic form of the Russian poetry in the XVIII century. The author studies the Russian poetic treatises of the XVIII century, which express the features of understanding prosody in the aesthetic paradigm of classicism and suppose the attitude of borrowing the Western literary forms. The national definition of the aesthetic form of poetry occurs through the revelation of people’s linguistic consciousness, the study of their folklore traditions that enliven the borrowed poetic form and create its unique national aesthetic flavour.
