Abstract.
The article examines the foreign-policy views of W. Churchill in relation to Soviet Russia in 1918-1919; special attention is paid to the period of the beginning of the active intervention of the allied states. The author analyzes the role of the Rebellion of the Czechoslovak Corps in promoting by W. Churchill the policy of the support of anti-Bolshevik forces in Russia. The paper includes the author’s original translation and the detailed chronological analysis of previously unpublished in Russia personal documents from W. Churchill’s archive.
