SOCIOLOGY OF MEDICAL CARE CONSUMPTION: PROJECT OF NEW AVERAGE LEVEL THEORY

Abstract.
The topicality of the article is conditioned by a need for a special sociological theory that explains the patterns of medical care consumption. The aim of this work is to create the conception of a new theory of average level - the sociology of medical care consumption. The novelty is expressed in the scientific substantiation of the sociology of medical care consumption as an applied and academic discipline. In addition, the article outlines the object, subject, methods and position of the sociology of medical care consumption in the structure of sociological knowledge. The author comes to the conclusion about a possibility of the integration of various theories and methods on studying medical consumption in a new field of sociological researches.
