Abstract.
The article is devoted to the research of cross-cultural interaction between Russia and the West in philosophical and anthropological context, specific differences and points of intersection of Russia and the West. The author considers the formation and development of the Russian cultural problems through the lenses of views and contradictions of the Slavophiles and the Westerners. This article contains the analysis of the attitudes of such Russian philosophers as Yu. Samarin, N. Danilevsky and N. Lossky. The author concludes that measurable and based on mutual respect and patience dialogue between Russia and Europe is one of the main conditions of the development of innovation culture in our country.
