Abstract.
The article shows the influence of disability on the everyday life of disabled. The author believes that disability is a socially constructed phenomenon and concludes that the perceptions of people with disabilities differ from the positioning of disabled themselves. People with disabilities integrated into society, as a rule, do not consider themselves hopeless and distance from the role of “sick person”. In this regard, it is necessary to form an adequate public opinion about disabled and create conditions for the realization of their rights and opportunities.
