INSTRUMENTS OF POLITICAL INFLUENCE OF REICHSWEHR OFFICER CORPS IN THE WEIMAR REPUBLIC

Abstract.
The article reveals the features of forming the instruments of the German officer corps influence on political and social processes in the Weimar Republic. The role of political informants, officers’, veterans’ associations and military alliances, the interaction of the War Ministry and the Army Command of the Reichswehr is analyzed. The characteristic of activity in the tandem of Hans von Seeckt and Otto Gessler is given. The author comes to the conclusion about the formation of the integrated system of the Reichswehr management influence on the policy of Weimar Germany.
