Abstract. Consciousness as ability to comprehend creates its own sign structure. At the moment of understanding reperception changes the syntactic structure of thought before the beginning of the formation of the logical form of the notion. In the article the production of new knowledge is studied from the viewpoint of coreferent sign structures. The moment of the expression and comprehension of meaning is analyzed as a result of the interaction of the symbolic forms of interpretation and perception.
