Abstract.
In 1921 in Moscow they opened the Communist University of the Toilers of the East with a view to propagate the ideas of communism in the Asian countries. The methods of teaching at the University were unique; first of all, they were functionally dependent on different levels of the students’ education. The system of training foreign students was focused on intensive training in the Russian language, conducting excursions and self-study.
