Abstract.
The article is devoted to the idea of the affirmation of the dignity of the man and personal autonomy in social work with clients. The peculiarities of the expression of the principle of the respect of human dignity, personal autonomy in the regulation of relations “social worker - client” are revealed and studied. Human dignity is substantiated as complex content of the client’s personality.
