Abstract.
The article deals with the issue of the systematization of the audiovisual archive of the Yakut Folklore Sector of the Institute for Humanities Research and Indigenous Studies of the North of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which stores audio and video recordings of folklore materials collected by many generations of the Yakut specialists in folklore since the end of the 60s of the XX century. The methodology of creating indexes by the materials of this archive is presented.
