Abstract.
The article examines the orchestral creative work of the modern Crimean Tatar composer Merzie Khalitova. The genre of concert in the musical culture of the Crimean Tatars has not been investigated previously, so the comprehensive analysis of the concert for tube with orchestra “At the Foot of Demirdzhi” by Merzie Khalitova enables to form up a picture of the modern Crimean Tatar professional music. The composer in the original form integrates polyphonic techniques, modern composition and the Crimean Tatar musical folklore.
