THANATOLOGY AND IMMORTOLOGY IN THE CONTEXT OF N. O. LOSSKY’S ETHICS

Abstract.
The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of death and immortality of N. O. Lossky in the context of his ethical and philosophical ideas. Despite the voluminous literature on the issue of the Russian religious-philosophical thanatology of the turn of the centuries, according to the author, it misses the most important point - the lack of anthropological aspect considered in the context of the Christian (Orthodox) doctrine about the personality. In this work the researcher poses the problem of the incommensurability of only the ethical measurement of this issue with the Christian (Orthodox) doctrine.
