IDEA TO RESTORE JUSTICE AS A FACTOR FOR THE FORMATION OF ANGLO-BURGUNDIAN ALLIANCE OF 1419

Abstract.
The article reveals the evolution of Anglo-Burgundian relations in 1419 and the role of the idea of justice as the most important value category of medieval society in the process of the formation of Anglo-Burgundian alliance, which was legalized in the Treaty of Mantes of 1419. The author emphasizes the role of the principle of justice in the break of Armagnac-Burgundian relations and the re-orientation of Burgundy at alliance with England. The researcher also focuses on the importance of alliance with Burgundy in French policy of the English king Henry V.
