CONCEPTION OF SOCIAL ASPIRATION FOR HAPPINESS THROUGH THE LENSES OF MODERN REALITY

Abstract.
The article analyzes social aspiration for happiness, the paradoxes and contradictions of this aspiration. The feeling of happiness itself depends not on certain benefits but on the internal, spiritual ability of the human being to be happy. Though nowadays the experience of happiness for most humans is limited to the satisfaction of their materialistic aspirations, the author shows that desire for happiness nevertheless correlates with the idea of the self-sufficiency, self-identification of the human being.
