Abstract.
Any human socializes himself and exists not on his own but in a certain historical context, and the determinancy of the scientific worldview of any intellectual by the historical situation is not in question. It’s much more difficult to identify specific circumstances (everyday, political), which conditioned the formation of a certain aspect of this worldview: the appearance of a certain idea, view, conception. The article aims to identify and justify the historical determinants of the problem of human communication of the German existentialist Karl Jaspers (1883-1969) as a meaningful basis for the existence of mankind.
