FINDING WAYS TO OVERCOME THE CRISIS OF LEGAL AWARENESS IN THE DOMESTIC THEORY OF “REVIVED NATURAL LAW” (BY THE EXAMPLE OF P. I. NOVGORODTSEV’S CONCEPTION)

Abstract. The article discusses the problem of overcoming the crisis of legal awareness in the “revived natural law” theory in Russia. Relying on the detailed analysis of P. I. Novgorodtsev’s views the author identifies the similarity between the modern state of social and legal reality and the period of the end of the XIX - the beginning of the XX century. The researcher concludes that in the process of developing the constitutional state and civil society of crucial importance are the ideas of adopting the system of social and legal education and legal awareness forming the legal system on the basis of ethical and legal values.
