Abstract. The article analyzes the problems of the legal regulation of individual enterprise. The authors emphasize the absence of the legal juridical term “entrepreneur” in the current legislation and introduce their own original approach to this legal construction. The paper argues for the necessity to adopt the law “On Individual Enterprise in the Russian Federation” at the federal level, which should aim to form the system of state guarantees for individual entrepreneurs.
