POWER AS A FORM OF ANTHROPOGENIC RECOGNITION

Abstract.
The article analyses power as a form of anthropogenic recognition through the lenses of the tradition of European philosophy. Special attention is paid to the developments of this subject matter in the works of G. Hegel , A. Kozhev, P. Ricœur and A. Honneth. “Authority” is analyzed as the key notion aiding to comprehend power as a specific form of human recognition. The article focuses on the legitimate foundations of power, it is shown that the recognition of power provides trust to it and contributes to its worship.
