STUDENT CONSTRUCTION BRIGADES IN FORMATION OF SURGUT POWER INDUSTRY (THE 1960-1900S)

Abstract. The article examines the process of power industry formation in the Western Siberian oil and gas complex by the example of Surgut city as the largest energy center not only of the mentioned region but also of the USSR as a whole. Student construction brigades took an active part in the formation of this industry branch. The author analyzes the activity of the student construction brigades in the 1960-1990s, their organization and economic contribution to the industrial sphere of Surgut city.
