ROAD FACILITIES IN THE BASHKIR AUTONOMOUS SOVIET SOCIALIST REPUBLIC DURING THE FOURTH FIVE-YEAR PLAN (1946-1950)

Abstract.
The article deals with the basic trends of the development of road building in the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic during the fourth five-year plan. In particular, the author studies the main indices of the plan of the complete overhaul of the roads in the republic, considers the post-war situation in the road sector, and analyzes the factors that influenced the condition of road building in 1946-1950. It is shown that significant obstacles for the construction of the roads were underfunding, the extreme deterioration of the equipment, and the unqualified staff.
