“THE STOLEN SUN” BY K. CHUKOVSKY AND B. TISHCHENKO: EXPERIENCE OF FAIRY TALE TRANSFER IN MUSICAL LANGUAGE

Abstract.
The article deals with the specificity of K. Chukovsky’s fairy tale interpretation in the fabulously satirical opera by B. Tishchenko “The Stolen Sun”, which is based on the interaction of semantic strata: children’s - adults’, game - parody, and represents the meaningful dominants of the composer’s world. On the basis of K. Chukovsky’s plot B. Tishchenko creates a new structural outline of a piece of music - theater of performance - that is close both to Italian commedia dell'arte, and the conditional theater of the XX century. Special attention is paid to the composer’s work with the text, the interaction of word and sound, the representation in the opera of the style of children’s intonation and reading poetry.
