Abstract.
The article reveals the content of the notions “ecological knowledge” and “technical sciences”. It is noted that ecological approach to the analysis of technical sciences requires introducing ecology as one of the essential components of their content. The author of the paper suggests reconsidering the role of technical sciences in the conditions of the current ecological danger and special attention is paid to the tasks, which the process of the ecologization of technics and technology presents technical sciences with, and to what role ecological knowledge plays in this process.
