PECULIARITIES OF DECORATIVE TEXTILES DESIGN: ETHNIC MOTIFS AND NATIONAL COLOR IN REPEATED PATTERNS

Abstract. In the article the main regularities of textile drawings design on the basis of ethnic ornaments are identified. The textiles intended for interior decoration are characterized, the works of domestic and foreign authors are described, and examples from modern pedagogical practice are given. The author concludes that information literacy and the methods of higher school play a significant role in the formation of the subject matter of repeated patterns.
