Abstract.
In the article the process of the formation and development of collective and state farms theaters in the Southern Ural region during the first five-year plans is revealed. The general characteristic of the cultural policy of the Soviet party state leadership is given; the content and orientation of administrative decisions in the field of theatrical art development are covered in detail. The statistical material, which allows tracing the development dynamics of the collective and state farms theaters, is presented. The specificity of their organizational and creative activity is explained.
